The support of this amazing team of professionals is the backbone of our ability to deliver infrastructure consulting and design services. What you’ll be challenged to do: The Accounting Intern will collaborate with a high-performing Accounting & Finance team to support core financial processes tied to AEC project work. You’ll receive direct mentorship from experienced professionals and gain exposure to project accounting, corporate accounting, and financial systems. Many of our interns go on to become full-time employees. In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in accounting through applied academic coursework, prior internships, or past work experiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including basic excel spreadsheet skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and prioritize multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Deltek Vantagepoint, or Oracle.
  • Comfort working with data or reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including invoice processing, billing support, and payment reconciliation.
  • Perform data entry and assist with maintaining accurate financial records using ERP platforms such as Deltek Vantagepoint.
  • Support month-end close activities by organizing documentation, reviewing account details, and preparing basic schedules.
  • Help compile, organize, and verify financial information for project reporting, audits, and compliance needs.
  • Contribute to general accounting and administrative tasks that improve workflow efficiency and support daily team operations.
