About The Position

Nelnet Business Solutions (NBS) is seeking a Finance/Accounting intern. This student filling this position will handle a wide range of financial, accounting, and system related tasks.

Requirements

• Working towards a degree in Accounting or Finance
• Relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting departments

• PC skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support clerical accounting functions such as reviewing credit card chargebacks for accuracy and compliance, processing lockbox transactions, and preparing cash deposits.
• Provide support for billing operations as needed, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and related documentation.
• Assisting with month-end close activities and handling ad hoc requests from the team.
• Complete special projects as assigned by management.
• Provide backup as directed by supervisor and other duties as may be assigned.
