About The Position

As an Account Intern, you will learn how to better understand and address business and campaign needs, solve problems, and build strong professional relationships with clients. You will help coordinate the execution of campaigns and projects and provide general support to the client engagement team.

  • Passion and desire to pursue a career in a related field (marketing or advertising)
  • Attention to detail, willingness to ask questions, ability to follow up, and knowledge of overall account logistics
  • Managing up and knowing when to escalate client and/or internal concerns
  • Initiative, enthusiasm to learn, and ability to follow directions
  • Interest in digital and technology required
  • A basic understanding of marketing principles and practices
  • Familiarity with project management tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining daily or weekly status reports
  • Organize team meetings and produce conference reports
  • Execute and manage aspects of creative development and production projects
  • Learn VML processes and more
  • Take accurate meeting notes, capture action items, and transfer actions to the weekly status when necessary
  • Track revisions to jobs and ensure information is documented and communicated to team members
  • Schedule and coordinate client meetings
  • Assist with creating and editing business documents
  • Assist in entry-level financial activities, such as drafting scopes and preparing billing for review with a supervisor
  • Ensure collaboration sites are kept current
  • Research client business
  • Participate in key client meetings
