About The Position

As a driver for Schneider Intermodal, you will be responsible for hauling freight containers and moving company-owned chassis from railyard to railyard. This position involves 100% no-touch freight that is 100% drop-and-hook, allowing you to drive a tractor from Schneider's pool of over 150 day cabs, with no assigned trucks. You will primarily drive in and out of railyards within a 60-mile radius of Chicago, IL.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
• Drivers on this account are required to drive at night.
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Chicago, IL.
