Intermediate/Senior Data Engineer - OP02112
About The Position
We’re expanding our team and opening new remote opportunities! We invite a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise to design and maintain data transformation pipelines, manage databases and cloud infrastructure, and ensure data is accessible and efficiently processed. You’ll focus on performance, scalability, and security, allowing our data systems to handle growth and operate reliably in production. You’ll collaborate closely with the product team to document business needs and transform them into clear, actionable technical requirements.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role
- Expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and data modeling
- Proficiency in dbt for modular data modeling, transformations, testing, and documentation
- Experience building scalable ELT pipelines in AWS
- Strong knowledge of data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or similar)
- Strong SQL skills for data transformation and analysis
- Innovative mindset with the ability to implement creative solutions to complex problems
- High attention to detail to ensure accurate data models, transformations, and pipelines
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Adaptability and effective time management skills
- Upper-Intermediate+ English level
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent certifications
- Full-stack development experience (TypeScript, React.js, JavaScript, Node.js, Express.js)
- Experience with CMS development or digital signage solutions
- Advanced knowledge of cloud security best practices
- Experience in cross-functional teams with developers and QA
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the product team to document business needs and transform them into clear, actionable technical requirements
- Build and maintain scalable ELT pipelines for reliable data ingestion, transformation, and delivery
- Design, optimize, and manage data models in Snowflake for performance, scalability, and clarity
- Create and maintain DAGs to define pipeline tasks, dependencies, and schedules for automated workflows
- Collaborate with DevOps to configure and manage AWS infrastructure supporting data storage, pipelines, and transformations
- Monitor pipelines to resolve failures and improve stability and data quality
- Document pipelines, DAGs, and models to support onboarding and knowledge sharing
