About The Position

WSP is currently initiating a search for an Intermediate Professional, Civil Engineer for our Orlando, Florida office. Be involved in projects with our Power Delivery Overhead Transmission Line Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients’ objectives and solves their challenges. This Opportunity The Intermediate Professional, Civil Engineer will share responsibility with the rest of the department to produce a product consistent with WSP's mission statement and our culture. They are expected to support the department in achieving the goals of the department, maintain WSP's high-quality standards, promote internal teamwork and meet the needs of our clients. Your Impact The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
• BSCE (Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering) degree from an accredited university
• The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel
• Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 2.75 Grade Point Average (GPA)
• Ideal coursework includes structural analysis, concrete design, steel design, soil mechanics, foundation design, and surveying
• Previous engineering design or drafting work experience, especially if related to civil and/or structural engineering, is desirable
• Engineer In Training (EIT) registration is desired
