Intermediate IT Onsite Support
About The Position
Under general direction, manages the IT procurement and inventory management function within the IT department. Maintains records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization’s hardware and software. Minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Tracks quantity throughout the product lifecycle. Monitors effectively both on a daily basis and long-term IT asset portfolio (software and technology related hardware with regard to cost, control, risk, compliance, business performance objectives and IT Governance as established by the organization. Maintains and issue Vocera devises, cellphones and Pagers. Remains up-to-date on emerging technologies that would benefit UAMS and complements UAMS’s mission/goals.
Requirements
- Associate's degree plus 1 year's IT experience providing end user support or IT related experience OR High School diploma plus 3 years IT experience in cabling, low voltage systems, carpentry/building maintenance.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field of study.
- Customer Service experience.
