We are seeking a motivated Intermediate Foreign Disclosure Representative (FDR) to provide broad support to the Foreign Disclosure and Technology Transfer Division (SAF/OCB) with major emphasis on foreign technology transfer activities. The FDR will be responsible for reviewing export license requests from U.S. industry and providing USAF foreign disclosure officers with analysis and recommendations concerning release parameters. Additionally, the FDR is expected to review and edit Delegation of Disclosure Authority Letters (DDLs), assess the appropriate release of briefings and information to foreign recipients, and to provide support to the Foreign Visits System (FVS). Work is planned to take place in the US Air Force client's agency NCR Offices. Some Travel is required.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI Eligibility.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree with a desired emphasis in an International Affairs curriculum.
• A minimum of five (8) years’ experience with demonstrated effectiveness and success in Foreign Disclosure and Technology Transfer.
• Must have knowledge and general understanding of security cooperation and international affairs.
• Knowledge of DAF’s roles and missions.
• Understanding of SAF/IA’s role within and relationship towards the USG’s security cooperation community.
• Familiarity with the USXPORTS SPAN System.

Responsibilities

• Performs foreign disclosure functions averaging five (5) events per day.
• Provides analysis and recommendations on information proposed to be disclosed or released to a foreign nation.
• Provides analysis and recommendations for the disclosure of classified and controlled unclassified information to foreign nationals/organizations.
• Develops and provides recommendations for export licenses and compliance using the Defense Technology Security Administration (DTSA) USXPORTS SPAN system.
• Provides recommendations of approval for foreign national visits to Air Force bases.
• Provides analysis and recommendations regarding curriculum elements of the USAF Foreign Disclosure training program.
• Reviews and drafts updated DDLs for USAF weapons systems, technologies, information, and training.
• Conducts analyses of policies, programs, and strategies regarding foreign disclosure and technology transfers/releases.
• Conducts analysis using foreign disclosure and technology transfer policies and guidelines.
• Provides analysis and recommendations requesting exceptions to the NDP-1.
• Works efficiently and effectively with the Microsoft Office Suite software applications.
• Reads, writes, and communicates professionally & effectively across the civilian and military spectrum.
• Performs duties at the Pentagon, Washington D.C. and/or via Government approved telework arrangement.
