The Threat Mitigation Department (N922) is seeking an Intermediate Counterintelligence Analyst to support our counterintelligence mission within the National and Defense Intelligence Program. The Threat Mitigation Department develops strategies, policies, technical analyses, and tools to enhance the nation's counterintelligence and counter-insider threat mission sponsors. The work requires operating with the senior levels of government, as well as a comprehensive understanding of counterintelligence analysis, the counterintelligence mission, and the Intelligence Community, particularly the partners and stakeholders in the counterintelligence mission.

Requirements

  • Candidate must have an active Top Secret/SCI with current Polygraph.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination or related education and work experience.
  • Experience within the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Experience in the counterintelligence domain.
  • Knowledge of analytic tradecraft standards (ICD 203), structured analytic techniques, critical thinking.
  • Knowledge of HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, and/or other intelligence gathering disciplines.
  • Experience generating reports, briefings, and position papers.
  • Strong writing and briefing skills.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position has an on-site requirement of 5 days a week on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Work with senior government officials and intelligence professionals to evaluate geopolitical developments, military strategies, and regional security challenges and develop analytic assessments, strategies, and other documentation as related to counterintelligence
  • Work with senior government officials and intelligence professionals to evaluate technical capabilities that be used by adversaries to collect intelligence.
