Join Our Team as an Intermediate Assembler! Are you passionate about Assembly ? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate our assembly function. As an assembler, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. In this job you will assemble Mark V, TR-II, ScadaMate, or Vista Switches. You will work in a production environment, engage in continuous production activity, must meet requirements within time constraints and you will be held accountable for the quality of your work. Tasks require a mechanical assembly aptitude, an above average degree of eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity, and the use of both hands and arms on a repetitive basis for a full range of motion. You will frequently use hand and power tools, working while standing on the floor and occasionally on a ladder or manlift. Key Responsibilities: Assembling Mark V circuit-switchers at one of several stations, ranging in size from 6’ x 10’ x 10’ to 15’ x 15’ x 15’. Assembling TR-II switches, ranging in size up to 5’ x 1’ x 1’ to 11’x 1’ x 1’. Identifying, transporting, installing, mounting and bolting all switch components (ranging from 5 lbs. to over 100 lbs. with assistance). Some judgment is required to assemble and make simple adjustments. Performing mechanical inspection using torque wrenches, screwdriver and tape measure, and electrical inspection using a test console. Using simple material handling equipment, hand tools, power tools, simple gauges and instruments, and overhead cranes
