Intermediate Architect
About The Position
This well-regarded architectural practice is seeking an Intermediate Architect to join its dynamic, sustainability-focused team. If you’re passionate about working on large-scale renovation projects and want to contribute to the design of meaningful spaces, this is the perfect opportunity for you. As an Intermediate Architect , you will contribute to large-scale renovation projects, particularly multi-building and campus infrastructure projects. You will assist with all project phases, from schematic design to construction administration, and collaborate closely with the project manager and senior architects.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of professional architectural experience, with a focus on building renovations
- Proficiency in REVIT and Building Information Modeling (BIM), including LOD classifications
- Experience with sustainable design, LEED or Passive House certification a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with NYC Building Codes and multi-family housing projects is a plus
- Experience with Navisworks is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Assist in large-scale renovation projects, including multi-building and campus updates
- Work in all phases of design and construction, including schematic design, design development, and construction documentation
- Coordinate project scopes with internal and external teams
- Support the preparation of technical drawings and design presentations
- Participate in construction administration, including site visits and coordination with the client
