The Intermediate Application Specialist (Epic Release of Information) is responsible for formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems. This role involves preparing detailed specifications from which programs will be written. The specialist will design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain programs, manage projects throughout the information systems lifecycle, and communicate project scope effectively. The position requires coordination with multiple vendors and the ability to work on most phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities, although guidance may be needed in some areas. The specialist will also create business processes for chosen packaged systems, configure those systems, and ensure all user requests are received in writing and evaluated properly. Timely responses to requests and efficient project completion in accordance with standard procedures are essential. The role includes assisting in the resolution of project issues and developing recommendations for those issues, as well as contributing to work plan development and management.

  • Two years of work experience with IS Technology preferred.
  • Health care industry experience preferred.
  • Educational background with Information Systems or Business-Related internships or part-time employment experiences.
  • Annual Base Pay: $62,712 - $94,120.
