The Intermediate Application Packaging Engineer position is hybrid with some on-site work in Indianapolis, Indiana and includes an on-call rotation. An Application Packaging Engineer is responsible for preparing, testing, and deploying software applications in a standardized format for enterprise environments. They create installation packages (e.g., MSI, App-V, MSIX) and ensure compatibility across operating systems, virtual desktop platforms, and endpoint devices. The role involves working closely with end-user compute, security, and operations teams to streamline deployment, reduce errors, and improve user experience. Strong skills in scripting, automation, and troubleshooting are essential to maintain efficiency and scalability in software delivery.
