About The Position
The Interlibrary Loan Student Assistant will serve as an important Resource Sharing Services team member by assisting with the processing of materials procured via Interlibrary Loan. The Student Assistant will find resources in the library databases and locate physical materials within the library, retrieve items from open and closed stack areas, scan requested materials for electronic delivery, and work to make library materials more accessible to all patrons. The Student Assistant will be responsible for handling items mailed through campus mail, postal mail, and FedEx. This position will be no more than 20 hours a week and will work on campus in the Stewart Library. The schedule can be adapted to provide those 20 hours any time Monday - Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM.
