About The Position
Under the direction of the ILL Lending Supervisor, the Interlibrary Loan Assistant supports the daily processing within the ILL Unit. This may include searching bibliographic citations to fill Virginia Tech patrons' and other libraries' requested materials either print or electronic. Retrieving requested materials from library stacks and updating status. Preparing shipments for print/media materials as needed. Serving as secondary customer service representative for the unit both via email and phone as needed.
