We are a renowned provider of aircraft maintenance and modification (AMM) services for commercial airlines and air freight operators. We have the know-how and experience to comprehensively manage complex projects, ensuring our customers' aircraft operate safely and efficiently.    What YOU will do: The Senior Crew Chief shall be responsible to his/her Manager. He/she shall direct and coordinate the activities of his/her department to minimize delays and maximize production and efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • FAA Airframe License and/or Repairman Certificate
  • 5 years heavy commercial aircraft maintenance, including 2 years Interiors Crew Chief experience
  • Heavy maintenance work experience in the Interiors trade field required

Responsibilities

  • Supervise his/her subordinates in proper procedures, methods and practices to be followed in each respective duty.
  • Monitor the status of each aircraft / project in service on a daily basis.
  • Prepare daily priority work sheets in concurrence with his/her Manager.
  • Ascertain that all necessary work records are properly executed by the responsible mechanic.
  • Ensure that areas under his/her control are kept in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Be responsible for the proper handling of all parts while in repair process and the preservation all units or parts during process through the shop / hangar and after work is completed.
  • Initiate requisitions for stock and materials required.
  • Assign people according to priority programs.
  • Make available the necessary overhaul manuals, service bulletins, airworthiness directives and any other required technical data.
  • Maintain all shop / hangar equipment and tools in a serviceable and working condition.
  • The SENIOR CREW CHIEF may delegate all duties to any qualified assistant as necessary. However, such delegation shall not relieve the Supervisor of the overall responsibilities.
