This position plays a crucial role in bringing our design visions to life by providing technical expertise, developing detailed drawings, and ensuring that design concepts are seamlessly translated into built environments while adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in interior design, execution, and living design. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive design solutions that align with project goals and client expectations. The candidate will provide project team coordination for plans, details, specifications, and material selections, ensuring design intent is incorporated into the contract documents. Additionally, the position requires oversight of the BIM model creation and maintenance of standards for the model, as well as coordination with consultants, contractors, and vendors to integrate technical requirements, building codes, and regulatory standards into the design process.

  • Provide technical expertise and develop detailed drawings for interior design projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and interior designers to develop design solutions.
  • Coordinate project team efforts for plans, details, specifications, and material selections.
  • Review work for accuracy, omissions, and compliance with the Project Delivery Manual.
  • Utilize Revit and other software to produce technical drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments for accurate documentation of existing conditions.
  • Oversee BIM model creation and maintain standards for the model.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to meet project objectives.
  • Produce and analyze technical and contract documentation for construction.
  • Provide technical support during the construction phase and address issues.
  • Participate in construction administration and conduct site visits.
  • Provide guidance on scope alignment and cost savings during pricing reviews.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in interior design.
  • 8+ years of experience in interior design or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in interiors, architecture, or related discipline.
  • Advanced knowledge of 2D/3D production software and Revit.
  • Experience in construction document preparation and field observation.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, zoning, and construction techniques.
  • Experience in sustainable building practices.
  • Professional interiors licensure preferred.
  • LEED GA within 6 months of hire.
  • Professional Accreditation in Living Design areas such as LEED AP, BREEAM AP, WELL AP, etc.
