Our teams are responsible for all horticultural practices, including but not limited to: turf mowing, edging, weed-eating, plant installations, bed construction, and seasonal pruning. Pay and Benefits: Up to $25 per hour based on experience Steady, year-round employment and continuous training Medical, Dental and Life Insurance 401k retirement savings plan with company match Paid vacation & sick time Paid holidays Pappas Dining Card Benefit Uniforms, safety gear and job equipment provided Responsibilities, Skills and Physical Requirements: Must enjoy working as a team while also taking independent initiative Strong organizational and time management skills are a plus Bilingual a plus (English & Spanish) Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, crawl, stoop, and work in a variety of physical conditions Manual dexterity to use common hand tools – shovel, plant pruners, scissors, etc. Keep all interior foliage cleaned, trimmed, and trash-free. Select the appropriate plant material for the available light scenarios. Appropriate watering of various types of interior foliage. Maintain interior planters in clean and orderly manner free of debris. Replace interior planters as necessary. Diagnose and treat interior foliage for disease or insects. Fertilize interior foliage as needed. Remove and replace damaged, unsightly, or failing plant material in a restaurant and/or corporate office setting. Must be able to climb ladders. Must have the ability to work in varying greenhouse, office, and/or outdoor conditions. Know or be willing to learn common plant names, insect and disease identification, and selective pruning techniques Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check High school graduation, or its equivalent. Posses a valid driver’s license. Must have verifiable driving record with no traffic violations within the previous 2 years. Requirements
