About The Position

Verdure Elements is Des Moines premier plant design company for beauty inside and out. We provide the most complete package of residential and commercial interior plantscaping, exterior seasonal color rotation and interior holiday décor. The Interior Plant Care Technician is responsible for servicing interior plant displays with great precision and efficiency, promoting a clean worksite, and exhibits pride and quality workmanship.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must have valid First-Aid and CPR cards or be willing to obtain one
• Must be dependable, punctual and have a strong work ethic
• Ability to reach, climb, kneel, lift (up to 50 lbs.) and walk for extended periods of time
• Must be detail oriented and have good communication skills
• Act with integrity, honesty, and professionalism at all times
• Ability to read and interpret daily work orders
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors

Nice To Haves

• Horticultural experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Service interior plant displays, flower and replica foliage on specified days
• Water, prune and groom plants, identifying insect and disease problems
• Ensure the client site is clean and orderly throughout the visit, leaving no water, waste or debris behind
• Maintain work vehicle and tools to be clean, organized, and operational on a daily basis
• Communicate with Service Leader regularly to inform them of any concerns or needs
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings
• Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards
• Uphold the values of Wright Outdoor Solutions which includes; safety, integrity, excellence, stewardship and family
• Perform other duties as related or assigned in all service areas of Wright Outdoor Solutions
