Interior Designer $45,000 base salary, plus uncapped commissions Design Homes Customers Love and Watch your Earnings Grow! Position Summary: At Ashley Furniture, the #1 home store in North America, as an Interior Designer, you’ll help customers select and customize furniture that fits their space, style, and everyday needs. By providing thoughtful in-home consultations and a personalized shopping experience, you’ll help customers feel confident in their choices while driving overall store success and earning uncapped commissions along the way! The role: As an Interior Designer, you’ll help create dream homes for our customers by guiding them through the customization of their furniture.

Responsibilities

Sharing up-to-date product knowledge while guiding customers through furniture selections, finishes, fabrics, and other customization options.
Listening, understanding, and matching solutions to customer needs, ensuring they leave satisfied and excited about their personalized spaces.
Working with customers both in their homes and in-store to provide personalized design consultations.
Visualizing and presenting furniture layouts to help customers make confident decisions.
Curating and maintaining a personal book of clients to drive repeat and referral business.
Finding creative solutions to unique design challenges.
Proactively following up with customers to ensure satisfaction, drive continued engagement, and build lasting relationships.
Building rapport and delivering a professional experience that encourages loyalty and repeat business.
Submitting precise orders, following established protocols, adhering to money handling processes, supporting customers with credit applications and financing matters.
