Interior Design Internship
About The Position
We are seeking talented and motivated interior design students with strong visual graphics, technical drawing, and communication skills to join Quinn Evans. This full-time summer internship may transition to part-time (+/- 12 hours/week) during the school year. This is an internship position with opportunities for professional growth in a highly collaborative studio environment while assisting on all aspects of interior design, from client presentations to construction administration. Internship may be located out of our Richmond office, although intern may work on projects across the firm. Intern will report to a member of our interior design team in their home office.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a professional degree program in Interior Design
- Design portfolio demonstrating strong visual communication skills with knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity Suite, Enscape, and other graphic visualization software; illustrative hand rendering is a plus
- Experience preparing graphic drawings and presentations, including concept diagrams, rendered technical drawings, and related 2D and 3D graphics
- Construction document experience working with Autodesk Revit
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Attention to detail, creative thinker, and well-organized
- Collaborative problem-solving skills with a professional work ethic
