About The Position

The Interior Design Internship offers an opportunity for candidates to gain hands-on experience in project work over a 9-week summer internship program. Interns will participate in project discussions, assist in preparing presentations, and engage in collaborative research with fellow interns. The role includes revising documents, creating design diagrams, and providing office support, all while receiving training in industry-standard software such as Bluebeam and Revit.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an education in Interior Design or relevant field
• Interest, passion, and an eagerness to learn
• Strong written, verbal, and communication skills
• Autodesk Revit proficiency is required

Nice To Haves

• Previous professional design experience is preferred
• Experience in Photoshop, Enscape, and InDesign is preferred

Responsibilities

• Revise documents under guidance of others
• Create diagrams, renderings, and drawings to effectively communicate design concepts
• Participate in project discussions to advance design ideation and refinement
• Assist in the preparation of presentations including drawings, models, and graphic layouts
• Order samples and assemble finish palettes
• Draft and revise interior plans, elevations, details, and specifications as directed by project teams
• Research interior products, concept imagery, and trends
• Provide office support, including organizing the resource library, placing supply orders, filing materials, etc.
