About The Position
We offer a six-month paid interior design internship to interior design students and interior design school graduates from around the world. The goal of Olson Kundig's Interior Design Internship Program is to provide experience and exposure to the many facets of the interior design practice. Interns may assist project teams and gain experience at different phases of projects by utilizing their skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, or hand sketching to produce working and presentation drawings. In addition, they may assist with research and selection of furniture and finishes. Interiors interns may have the opportunity to attend construction site visits, in-office speaker series, weekly design critiques, and Interiors Studio meetings. Interns may meet vendors, organize and attend vendor presentations, and maintain the sample library. Interns from countries outside of the U.S. are responsible for obtaining the necessary paperwork enabling them to work in the U.S., although the firm will provide a letter stating its offer of employment.
