Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's/Bachelor's a plus)
At least 1 year of flooring sales experience
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Basic math skills and computer proficiency (POS, CRM, Microsoft Office)
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and dependable work ethic

Nice To Haves

Ability to read blueprints or room measurements is a plus

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in the showroom, guiding them through flooring selections
Recommend materials based on design preferences, budget, and project needs
Provide expert knowledge on product features, installation methods, and care
Prepare accurate quotes, estimates, invoices, and sales documentation
Process customer orders and coordinate delivery and installation scheduling
Partner with installation teams to ensure timelines and specifications are met
Handle customer questions, concerns, and service issues professionally
Maintain clean, organized showroom displays that highlight product offerings
Track sales activity, follow up on leads, and meet monthly sales goals
Build long-term relationships with homeowners, contractors, and designers
