About The Position

As an interior cabinet technician you will be fabricating complex high quality furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies for installation in world class business aircraft. Some of the tasks you may be required to complete include parts replacements or repair, basic electrical system installation and general mechanical applications. Modifications, repair, refurbishment and fabrication of aircraft cabinets are the primary functions. Job duties will vary each day and are designated by the Team Leader in charge of that project.

Requirements

• A High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technician I: 0-2 years' experience in cabinetry, carpentry or other similar trade.
• Technician II: 2-5 years' experience modifying, repairing, refurbishing and fabrication of aircraft cabinets.
• Technician III: 5+ years' experience modifying, repairing, refurbishing and fabrication of aircraft cabinets.
• Self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation to get to work each day.
• Ability to perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
• Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties.
• Maintain customer-oriented work habits.

Responsibilities

• Performing general mechanical functions on aircraft cabinets and related systems.
• Removal and installation of cabinets, modification, re-laminating, veneering or fabrication of new cabinets.
• Ability to perform minor modifications.
• Perform daily turnover sheets.
• Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling.
• Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
• Maintain cleanliness of shop and surroundings.
• Work independently when required.
• Effectively and clearly communicate in English.
• Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
