About The Position

A Cox Consulting Network client is seeking an accomplished Interim VP of Finance to lead a critical 6-month executive leadership assignment onsite in Alaska. Supporting a well-capitalized energy operator, this leader will oversee Finance, Tax, Risk, and IT during a pivotal transition period, reporting directly to the Business Unit President.

Requirements

• 20+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
• Significant energy industry experience
• Experience overseeing both finance and technology functions
• Strong regulatory, tax, and risk management expertise
• Demonstrated executive presence with the ability to operate as a trusted advisor to senior leadership
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash management in a 24/7 operating environment
• Ability to partner closely with operations to drive performance and decision quality

Nice To Haves

• CPA or CA designation
• Prior executive leadership experience supporting a producing asset
• Experience providing financial and risk input into commercial agreements and strategic initiatives
• Proven ability to quickly assess, stabilize, and elevate performance in transitional environments
