Village Shores, a SilverCrest Senior Living Community, is hiring an Interim Reflections Coordinator to facilitate daily activities at our senior campus. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be a Certified Dementia Practitioner
  • At least 1 year in a programming-related position, preferably memory care, or experience as a home health aide
  • Alzheimer’s and dementia training
  • Have the physical, mental, and emotional health and energy to perform the requirements of the job
  • Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test
  • Applicants may be subject to a background check
  • Employees in this position must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, perform, facilitate, and monitor the entire program provision, ensuring the overall success of all resident programs in the Reflections Neighborhood
  • Facilitate meaningful programs for residents with dementia by taking individual needs into account and assuring customer satisfaction to the highest degree possible
  • Serve as an informed expert by staying up-to-date and knowledgeable about all the products and procedures of the community
  • Be involved and interact with people (residents, families, visitors, staff, home care agency, potential referral sources, community services, other health providers, community groups, etc.)
  • Use computer programs in Microsoft Office for public communications, calendar creation, and newsletter development, or be willing to learn and implement
