About The Position

Vaco has partnered with a mission-driven healthcare organization that is seeking an experienced Interim Controller. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical accounting expertise, leadership skills, and a background in value-based healthcare models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA license required
• Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred (value-based care, Medicare/Medicaid)
• Proven experience as a Controller in a dynamic environment
• Commitment to duration and needs of project (ability to work hybrid in Scottsdale office)

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and lead a small team
• Support transition between outgoing and incoming Controller
• Manage monthly close, revenue recognition, and financial reporting
• Participate in ad hoc projects as needed
