Interim Coordinator of Support Services & Reading Specialist 5-Month Leadership Opportunity | February - June 2026 Moravian Academy, a 282-year-old independent school in the Lehigh Valley, seeks a skilled educator for a unique 5-month interim leadership opportunity. As Interim Director of Support Services and Reading Specialist, you will lead all aspects of our campus support services, ensuring every student receives the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral support they need to thrive. You'll coordinate our talented team of Learning Specialists, facilitate crucial meetings with families and faculty, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide direct reading instruction to students. This role is perfect for an experienced educational leader who values collaboration, innovation, and the opportunity to strengthen an already strong program during a critical transition period. We seek candidates with a Master's degree in Special Education, School Psychology, or Reading Specialist certification, plus at least 5 years of experience supporting diverse learners. Experience in independent schools, structured literacy approaches, and Pennsylvania special education regulations are highly valued.
