About The Position

We are seeking an experienced accounting leader to join our Vaco team and bridge the gap during a transition. This role will be fully remote (EST/CST preferred). This role will be responsible for leading a combined on-shore/off-shore team (7), review monthly close packages (40+ business units), and other special projects (i.e. post Blackline implementation support, commission accounting).

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• At least 7 years of accounting experience.
• Proven track record of multi-entity/multi-site close experience.
• Ability to independently tackle initiatives with little to no direction.
• Experience with NetSuite and/or Blackline is highly preferred.
• CPA highly preferred.
• Must be located in EST/CST time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead a combined on-shore/off-shore accounting team of 7.
• Review monthly close packages for 40+ business units.
• Manage special projects including post Blackline implementation support and commission accounting.
