About The Position

The Interim Director of Infection Control at Trinity Health is a full-time leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and directing system-wide programs for infection control. This position supports the mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health, providing essential interim leadership across the healthcare system. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective infection control practices are maintained throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Current Maryland RN License
• Current certification by the National Certification Board of Infection Control Epidemiology
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; Master's preferred
• Five years of clinical experience, with three years in hospital epidemiology/infection control
• Strong organizational skills and ability to lead through collaboration and influence
• Proficiency in software applications including word processing and spreadsheets.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in developing and implementing performance/quality improvement initiatives
• Familiarity with healthcare systems and clinical practice settings
• Demonstrated leadership ability in a hospital environment.
