About The Position

The Interim Admin Assistant will provide essential support to the Executive Director of a Hawaiian nonprofit organization during a temporary period of injury-related incapacity. This part-time, remote position requires flexibility in hours and involves a mix of administrative and personal tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the director's responsibilities.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience as admin/office/executive assistant or equivalent.
  • Highly organized and able to quickly prioritize tasks.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible availability to accommodate varying schedules.
  • Excellent people skills to work with a wide range of individuals.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace Apps (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets), Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and clean up transcriptions from iPhone voice-to-text and similar tools.
  • Search through a high volume of emails for content relevant to key topics, organize, label, and add highlights of key excerpts.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and text reminders.
  • Coordinate travel logistics as needed.
  • Print, mail, or file documents as required.
  • Provide occasional on-site assistance as needed.
