About The Position

We need an accounting manager (interim for 2 months), to be onsite near Riverside, CA. This role is primarily and training, coaching, and managerial role. Leadership & Management (Primary Gap) Proactive team leadership: daily huddles, directing workflow without being prompted Servant leadership mentality: willing to "get hands dirty" alongside the team Strong communicator who naturally integrates with on-site staff Ability to assess team dynamics and identify who's over/under capacity Accounting, Strategic & Technical Skills Process mapping and R&R (roles & responsibilities) documentation aligned with the EOS rollout Ability to assess the team structure and prepare a blueprint for the incoming permanent Accounting Manager Serve as a bridge resource to set up the new hire for success QuickBooks Enterprise experience (but less emphasis than the current placement) WIP reporting: must be able to work fluidly across QuickBooks + Excel, not locked into one system Month-end close ownership and driving accountability through the team Comfortable working with external auditors (audit support), if needed Soft Skills / Mindset Adaptable and nimble - can build or modify models/processes, not just execute a set way Team player who steps in during chaos without being asked Proactive problem solver, not reactive or siloed MISC On-site required (3-5 days) 120 hours/month ~60 days remaining on engagement (through ~May 31) New permanent Accounting Manager hire is in process — this resource needs to tee them up, not replace them
