The Interface Developer position is a full-time role that allows for remote employment, although it requires occasional travel to the headquarters in Burlington, MA, Boston, MA, and Alexandria, VA for team meetings. The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting ETL processes for large healthcare data sets, developing new features, and enhancing existing products. The developer will also be responsible for deploying, orchestrating, and monitoring jobs, creating documentation, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing production support. The position requires effective communication and a commitment to high-quality work, continuous improvement, and compliance with HealthEdge policies.

  • Design, Implement and Support ETL processes that process large healthcare data sets.
  • Develop new features and enhancements to match product releases.
  • Recommend and design best practices for performant data loads.
  • Deploy, Orchestrate and Monitor jobs.
  • Create process, architecture and deployment documents.
  • Interact with customers to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Perform Production Support activities, analyze issues, provide effective and immediate solutions.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and scrum activities.
  • Communicate effectively.
  • Provide high quality work and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Provide occasional support during weekends.
  • Work during EST business hours to ensure alignment with client operations and support needs.
  • Seek out and embrace feedback, take on tough assignments to improve skills, keep knowledge and skills up-to-date and turn mistakes into learning opportunities.
  • Perform all responsibilities in compliance with all HealthEdge policies, including those related to information privacy and security.
  • Learn and maintain proficiency in using HealthEdge’s platform and its partner products and services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field (foreign equivalent is acceptable).
  • A minimum of 18 months of experience developing and deploying web applications using technologies such as C#.
  • A minimum of 18 months of experience working with SQL, query optimizations, writing stored procedures and functions.
  • A minimum of 18 months of experience in all levels of software development life cycle (SDLC), including collecting requirements, analyzing, design, coding, implementation, debugging, development testing, and deploying.
  • A minimum of 18 months of experience using Azure DevOps services for source code maintenance, test plans, scrum boards, and deployments.
