The Interface Analyst at Jackson Memorial Hospital is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance of clinical system interfaces across multiple applications and departments. This role involves monitoring interfaces, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with vendors and senior team members to ensure the reliability of cross-enterprise applications. The analyst will also document and test interfaces, ensuring adherence to operational policies and standards.

  • Monitor and support all system interfaces.
  • Ensure reliability of cross-enterprise applications.
  • Identify, document, and resolve interface-related issues.
  • Seek guidance from senior team members as needed.
  • Follow up with colleagues, vendors, and end users to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Escalate issues to management when appropriate.
  • Build, test, and document new interfaces and modifications to existing interfaces.
  • Identify risks and communicate them to senior team members.
  • Work with management to adhere to JHS standards and requirements.
  • Enforce operational policies and procedures.
  • Build proficiency with industry standards like HL7 and X.12.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Experience with Cerner, InterSystems, and/or electronic health records preferred.
  • A few years of HL7 integration or programming design and support preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, MIS, Engineering, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Must be able to participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 support.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to exercise sound and independent judgment.
  • Knowledge and skill in the use of job-appropriate technology and software applications.
  • Full-Time, Days, Monday through Friday, Hybrid Remote
