About The Position

Primary responsibilities of the Interconnection Support Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of interconnection initiatives and data migration projects. This role bridges technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure data flows accurately across systems, interconnection requirements are properly captured, and migration efforts meet quality and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Data Center Experience: Focus on interconnection and network related services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex data and identify patterns, trends, and potential issues.
  • Experience with data integration tools and technologies: Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, and API integration.
  • Knowledge of business processes and systems: Understanding of how different business areas utilize data and how systems interact.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other data analysis tools: Essential for querying and manipulating data.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with technical teams to ensure successful ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and adherence to data governance standards.
  • Identify and analyze data needs for various business processes, ensuring data is accessible and usable across different systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to enhance interconnection offerings and automation. Map data flows between legacy systems and new platforms, identifying data sources, transformation rules, and integration points.
  • Create and modify data to interact with database uploads, specifically IP address management (IPAM) and datacenter infrastructure management (DCIM).
  • Maintain databases with real-time status of interconnect inventory, capacity, and utilization.
  • Generate regular reports on cross-connect orders, completion metrics, and availability.
  • Define data quality metrics and participate in data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes during migration cycles.
  • Assist in developing functional specifications, use cases, process flows, and test cases to support development and QA efforts.
  • Contribute to change management activities including training, documentation, and user support for migrated systems.
  • Establish processes and validation rules to maintain data quality and ensure data accuracy across integrated systems.
  • Be able to and willing to present to wider internal and external audiences for reviews and decision making.
