About The Position

Peraton is seeking an experienced Outreach Specialist to collaborate with federal, state, local, and other governmental partners to strengthen national security and homeland defense. The ideal candidate will have experience directly supporting the Intelligence Community. You understand the operational environment at a strategic level, and you consider and balance discrete perspectives to strengthen mission readiness. You oversee community-wide workshops, exercises, and simulations designed to enhance information collection capabilities, close knowledge gaps, and prepare all partners to respond to operational events. You establish and maintain excellent, collaborative working relationships with executive leaders, soliciting and incorporating feedback in a thoughtful, professional manner. Requirements

  • Active, current TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Minimum of 12 years relevant experience with BS/BA
  • Experience planning, designing, developing, coordinating, and/or executing exercise events with a wide variety of audiences and ensuring results are reported in a timely manner
  • Ability to confidently maintain oversight of community-wide exercise planning, delivery, and intended outcomes, and make exercise adjustment recommendations driven by mission, policy, or other business changes

Nice To Haves

  • Possess a background supporting national security objectives in an operational or analytical role
  • Experience leading teams by participating in hiring and onboarding, driving individual and team performance, supporting growth and development, etc
