The Interactive Media Designer (IMD) is an integral team member in developing digital media assets for Butler University. The IMD is part of the Digital Learning Team and the broader Online Education and Educational Technology (OEET) Team. OEET partners with colleges, programs, and departments to create quality online education and support learning through innovative technology. More specifically, the IMD is crucial in creating engaging and meaningful content for use in credit, non-credit, and professional development learning materials. This position collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Instructional Designers, and other University stakeholders to enhance digital experiences through the creation of high-quality instructional and promotional digital media assets (video, animations, graphics, simulations, illustrations, photos, infographics, audio, etc.). OEET allows for a work schedule that offers both remote and in-person options. Butler University hires candidates with approved state residency according to state authorization agreements with a preference for Indiana.
