About The Position

Interactive Express Banker Job Summary: Responsible for delivering quality service to First US Bank customers using the Express Banker interactive video interface system. Handles various types of financial transactions accurately and efficiently. Performs additional duties as assigned. Primary Responsibilities / Job Duties: Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, account transfers, loan payments, and other types of requests. Balance “virtual vault” within given time frames in accordance with operating policies and procedures. Demonstrate ability to multi-task as this position requires the operation of two separate computer systems simultaneously to conduct transactions; one that controls the Interactive Teller Machine used by the customer and one that processes the teller transaction for the bank. Maintain knowledge of First US Bank products and services; identify customer needs and develop appropriate referral opportunities through strong customer relationship skills. Educate customers on the use of First US Bank digital banking platforms and delivery channel alternatives for their financial interactions. Adhere to established policies and procedures; Maintain security and confidentiality of customer information; Demonstrate sound judgment within established limits. Participate in and complete all required compliance training, including BSA/AML, as well as other internal and external training programs. Participates in training new teammates as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned. Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Previous customer service and cash handling experience in a financial institution or retail setting preferred Ability to work in a virtual environment with “on-screen” customer interaction Effective oral communication skills with appropriate diction/articulation, tone of voice, and grammar Ability to operate bank software programs and standard office equipment; proficient typing skills Strong mathematical skills; ability to accurately balance transactions Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail Friendly and courteous demeanor; interpersonal skills necessary to professionally interact with customers and coworkers Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Working Environment / Physical Demands: Work is performed in a professional office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. May require the ability to lift files, bend, reach, walk or maneuver around the bank. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
