Allies4Outcomes is expanding, and we are seeking experienced, forensically trained, strategically minded social work supervisors who are efficient, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to advancing excellence in child welfare practice. Now Recruiting: Intensive Support Social Work Team (ISSWT) Supervisors We are actively recruiting statewide, with immediate needs in the Charlotte, NC area and surrounding counties. As a supervisor with the ISSWT, you will provide leadership, oversight, and direct support to staff engaged in frontline child welfare practice, including: Overseeing completion of backlog assessment cases Monitoring and supporting initiation of assessments Guiding and reviewing Family In-Home Services and Permanency Planning activities Supervising participation in after-hours and weekend on‑call rotations Ensuring strict alignment with federal and state mandates, policy, and best practices Coordinating with counties on case-carrying support (with anticipated expansion in 2026) This role is ideal for leaders who thrive in a creative, innovative, non-governmental agency environment and who naturally model Allies4Outcomes’ excellence-in-customer-service philosophy.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a North Carolina CPS Social Work Supervisor (or Social Worker with significant leadership responsibility)
  • Must not have been employed by Mecklenburg County DSS within the past 3 years (for contract compliance)
  • Extensive knowledge of NC child welfare policy, practice standards, CQI processes, and effective family engagement
  • Strong technology skills, with the ability to work independently while upholding company values
  • Demonstrated ability to: Lead teams through personal and organizational change with flexibility and emotional regulation Coach, mentor, and support staff in adapting to evolving county needs Maintain high professional standards in fast-moving, variable environments
  • Willingness to travel across North Carolina and work flexible hours
  • Must meet Investigative Assessment Treatment Social Worker requirements
