Position Overview The Intensive Outpatient Therapist provides clinical services within our Adult IOP program, delivering group-based treatment, completing assessments, and supporting clients across the continuum of care.

Requirements

Strong understanding of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Proficiency in assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical evaluation.
Experience facilitating individual and group therapy and engaging families in treatment.
Strong documentation skills with a commitment to ethical and professional practice.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse adult populations.
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field, including completion of a clinically based internship.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with complex clinical presentations, including psychosis, strongly preferred.
Prior experience in behavioral health and/or substance use disorder treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) group therapy for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Provide individual therapy sessions.
Complete approximately 6–8 Level of Care Assessments per week, based on program needs.
Prepare group materials and maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
Develop and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
Assess and monitor clients’ behavioral, emotional, and substance use needs throughout treatment.
Maintain professional communication with clients, referral sources, and internal team members.
Complete insurance reviews, and document progress notes.
Meet productivity expectations while maintaining high clinical standards.
Participate in required trainings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision.
Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment, including providing crisis intervention when necessary.
Uphold ethical standards and support overall program operations as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
