About The Position

Seeking an experienced and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse to join a collaborative critical care team. The ICU RN provides advanced patient care to critically ill patients requiring close monitoring, frequent assessments, and autonomous clinical decision-making.

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ year of recent ICU RN experience in an acute care setting
• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate (compact) RN license
• Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation
• RN Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale – within 30 days of start
• BLS – within 30 days of start
• ACLS – within 6 months of start
• PALS – within 6 months of start

• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations
• Monitor critical vital signs and intervene in life-threatening situations
• Deliver safe, effective patient care using sound clinical judgment
• Advocate for patients as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and treatments
• Provide emotional support to patients and families throughout hospitalization
