About The Position

Pro Med Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse to provide critical care to patients in need of intensive medical attention. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality care, utilizing advanced nursing skills and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit or critical care setting.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
• Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess critically ill patients continuously to detect changes in condition.
• Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments prescribed by physicians.
• Operate and interpret readings from life support, monitoring devices, and other specialized medical equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed health records.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures within the ICU.
