This opportunity is ideal for nurses looking to expand their skills in a high-acuity, team-driven critical care environment. POSITION OVERVIEW The ICU RN provides critical care services including continuous monitoring, rapid assessments, and management of complex patient conditions. This role supports patient-centered care within a structured, collaborative ICU team environment. SCHEDULE • Days or nights available with rotating weekends COMPENSATION • Hourly rate $32.00 to $48.00 based on experience • Night differential $4.25/hr • Weekend differential $3.00/hr KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients • Perform assessments and monitor patient status continuously • Respond to emergencies and rapidly changing conditions • Administer medications and manage treatment plans • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care • Promote patient safety and positive outcomes WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY • Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center • 48-bed ICU with high-acuity patient population • Strong clinical leadership and team support • Opportunity to earn CCRN or TNCC certifications • Modern EMR and evidence-based practice environment • Career growth and advancement opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of acute care RN experience required (within last 3 years)
- Active Florida RN license or compact license required
- Must obtain Florida license within required timeframe if relocating
- BLS certification required
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced critical care environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Higher acuity experience preferred (ICU, PCU, or similar)
- Strong Med-Surg candidates may be considered
