About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity ICU with strong leadership, collaboration, and patient-centered care. POSITION OVERVIEW The ICU RN provides critical care to medical and surgical patients, including those requiring ventilators and vasoactive drips. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid response capabilities, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within last 3 years) required
- Active Florida RN license or compact license required
- Must obtain Florida license within required timeframe if relocating
- BLS certification required
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to thrive in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
Nice To Haves
- ICU, ER, or CVICU experience preferred
- PCU/IMCU experience acceptable with 2+ years
- Experience with ventilators and critical drips preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level nursing care to critically ill patients
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to rapid changes
- Manage ventilators, drips, and advanced ICU treatments
- Administer medications and evaluate treatment effectiveness
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation
- Promote patient safety and quality outcomes
