If step one is lower than their current salary, they will be placed at a step that provides for at least a 5% increase. If they have previous experience in a same higher classification they will be placed commensurate with that verified experience (lower classification experience does not apply to higher classifications). Tehama County Department of Education is located in Red Bluff, CA which is approximately 2 hours north of Sacramento.

Requirements

Must be able to become certified by the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) in non-violent crisis interventions.
Experience working in an education setting implementing intensive behavioral intervention programs for students with complex and/or severe behavioral problems.
Driving will be required.
