Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking an Intelligence Watch Officer to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) and Intelligence Watch and Coordination Center (IWCC) and Open Source Intelligence Division (OSID) for I&A Intelligence Watch and Open Source Collection Support Services. The mission of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of intelligence and Analysis (I&A) is to equip the Homeland Security Enterprise with timely intelligence and information it needs to keep the homeland safe, secure, and resilient. The position will provide professional tactical/operational intelligence services to support DHS I&A. What you will be doing: Support DHS I&A in its 24/7 operational mission. Shift work including support through a rotation schedule including day, evening, and mid shifts are required. Provide intelligence analysis as required based on raw intelligence collected from a variety of sources (i.e. INTs) to support a dynamic intelligence watch and warning operation. Review intelligence and information across multiple classification platforms and data sources to identify, triage, and assess intelligence/information for indicators and warnings of threats. Review raw and finished intelligence from the Intelligence Community (IC), DHS Intelligence Enterprise, and state, local, tribal, and territorial partners. Assist the government in the collection and dissemination of current, relevant, and actionable intelligence, information, indications, and/or warnings that enables the Chief Intelligence Officer (CINT) and the Analytic Centers to frame emerging threats at the earliest possible opportunity, gauge initial and subsequent responses, and take targeted mitigation actions. Conduct analytic exchanges with I&A, the IC, and other federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and private sector (FSLTTP) partners to maintain communications and situational awareness of daily activities. Write intelligence products, prepare and deliver briefings, and initiate other communiques to further decision-making, situational awareness, and information sharing and develop and compile metrics, feedback, and other data collations related to watch and warning. Maintain operational, tactical, and situational awareness of current and emerging threat streams, geopolitical developments, and DHS leadership priorities to provide current intelligence products and support to decision makers. Prepare written products that convey factual information in a clear and concise manner for Executive and Cabinet-level audiences as authorized by I&A leadership.
