About The Position

As an Intelligence Planner with the Marine Force, you will be responsible for supporting real world contingency planning and exercise support regarding JISR, joint targeting, and over the horizon fires. You’ll act as the central coordinator for managing the assignment of intelligence assets to standing operational plans, ad-hoc service and joint taskings, and the Marine Force’s global force management responsibilities. The Intelligence Planner role will require you to develop and maintain detailed tracking mechanisms and readiness portals to provide leadership with a common operating picture of all intelligence force allocation and deployment schedules. You will also champion the adoption and integration of existing and emerging AI/ML-enabled capabilities to streamline force management processes, automate requirements tracking, and enhance readiness reporting. Requirements

  • Knowledge of Marine Corps intelligence formations, unit table of organization and equipment (T/O&E), and the capabilities inherent to each
  • Knowledge of the Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP) and how intelligence units are integrated into operational planning
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with counterparts in adjacent staff sections
  • Ability to act as a broker, manage competing priorities, and deconflict requirements in a high-tempo environment
  • Ability to track multiple complex requirements simultaneously
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in military intelligence or operational planning, or 20+ years of experience in military intelligence or operational planning in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

  • 20+ years of experience in military intelligence
  • Experience with emerging technologies, including AI/ML-enabled platforms, and their potential application to automate and improve intelligence force management and operational planning processes
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills
  • Master's degree
