About The Position

The Intelligence Collections Manager (ICM) performs Intelligence Collection Management duties for routine, Special Access Program (SAP), and compartmented projects, operations, and exercises for all intelligence disciplines This position is contingent on contract award Essential Duties and Responsibilities (U) Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. The ICM willl focus on all issues pertaining to collection and production management, including doctrine, policy, procedures, oversight, tactical, theater, and national-level coordination and other issues. The ICM performs Intelligence Collection Management duties for routine, Special Access Program (SAP), and compartmented projects, operations, and exercises for all intelligence disciplines. The ICM shall be able to demonstrate superior proficiency in utilizing current intelligence related automation, requirements-based applications, tools, and databases to support collection, analytical efforts and product development. The ICM assists in the development of collection plans, establishes priorities for collection and routinely assists with the day-to-day activities of the command collection management activities. The Intelligence Collection Manager shall develop, plan, support and provide guidance, assistance and have oversight on all intelligence collection and production management functions, projects, and activities. Additionally, the ICM coordinates with appropriate National Intelligence Agencies, Combatant Command Joint Intelligence Centers, and Service Production Centers advocating for inclusion of customer requirements in those activities’ standing collection and production requirements while actively assisting in analyst/collector/collection management partnership forums to support analysts on collection issues. The ICM will serve as the subject matter expert and advise on all aspects of collection management during routine, contingency, special access program, compartmented projects, operations, and exercises.

Requirements

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of total intelligence/intelligence operations experience within the DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with five (5) years at the operational level.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in collection management with a strong background and firsthand experience in collection management and/or intelligence reporting, including doctrine, policy, procedures, oversight, tactical, theater, and national-level coordination.
  • Excellent briefing and executive level writing skills.
  • The position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.
