The Intelligence Analyst for Major League Baseball will support the Director, Global Intelligence in monitoring, evaluating, and drafting analytic assessments on potential and emerging risks that may impact MLB executives, personnel, players, facilities, and other assets. Intelligence analysts at MLB play an important role in maintaining real-time situational awareness by collecting, analyzing, drafting, and disseminating threat intelligence information across the organization and with the 30 Clubs and ballparks, as necessary. Analysts at MLB apply foundational skills in open-source intelligence collection, research, and report writing, while leveraging various information technology, social media, and communications platforms. This role requires a working knowledge of threat monitoring, intelligence analysis, global security trends, and relevant data and information source tools. Intelligence analysts at MLB must work effectively with international, federal, state, tribal, and local law enforcement, including organizations such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Secret Service, Department of Homeland Security, and local law enforcement to ensure relevant intelligence information is shared in a timely fashion.
